cover concept

I had the honor of writing the cover story and overseeing the design of the fall 2024 issue of Accolades magazine, which included coming up with the cover concept. The second I saw this photo of Mount Everest, which was actually taken by the alumnus who scaled the mountain, I knew it had to be on the cover. I wanted the peak stretching up over the text, with the climbers making their way to the magazine’s title. It was beautifully brought to life by our magazine’s freelance designer, Gabriel Clemons.
