The McAmises as Hobbitses

I don’t often do portraits (because I’m not super confident in them) BUT I recently had the absolute honor and pleasure of drawing my very best friend and her beau as Hobbits as a surprise for previously mentioned beau’s birthday.

From the fabric textures to the hairy feet to the vines, this was one of the best challenges I’ve attempted so far!! Definitely a fun way to push myself out of my comfort zone!

This portrait style was inspired by NerdyFaceDesign’s Hobbit portraits on Etsy, with a little bit of my own spin on it. The color palette is “Hobbit Hues” by LostEtsyTreasures, and the fabric brushes I used are “Cloth Textures” by CleverWizard (both on Etsy).
