This was a commissioned piece from my friend Erin to celebrate the how prevalent and normal queerness is in nature.

icydk: female laysan albatrosses (aka Phoebastria immutabilis) can fall in love and mate for life—as can many other species of birds!

I really love this piece and how doodle-y it looks and the childishness of the handwriting up top. I’m so happy with how it turned out!!
